The campus bike and skate shop has a website and on here you can find all the information you need on skateboards that they sell and deals that they are having. The skate shop is not very known among students because there is no publicity for the shop other than the website, so be sure to check the site and stop by the shop!
This skateshop started on campus, hence the name Muirskate, and grew so big that now is a business operating entirely independent from the university and located off campus. They specialize in longboards but they do sell skateboards as well. If you are looking for something the UCSD skateshop does not have be sure to look here!
This site is a map of all the skateparks in San Diego, and it provides the address and photos. If you have car and are looking for a new place to skate and learn some new skills be sure to check this site out because San Diego offers a ton of skateparks.

This is UCSD Longboarding club's facebook page, and although it is not dedicated to "trick" skating you will find that many of the members in the club also have an interest in "trick" skating along with longboarding. If you are looking for skaters and have not been able to find any on campus, this page may help you in your quest.
This is the link to sign up for UCSD's Skateboard Recreation class. The class is there for instruction but also to hang out in a safe secluded area with other skateboarders. The class is on hold at the moment due to vandalism but be sure to check back because the class is under planning for the next quarter.
